I can tell you that the I-phone will soon be sold in Luxemburg.Apple concentrates on large matreks first, and are very demanding in sales information in return. Mobile phone Operators have to comply with very strong requirement from Apple. All these setups create a lot of workload for the operators and smaller operators from smaller countries simply don't have the manpower to respond to Apple requirements. (That's why the operator that will sell the I-phone will receive them from one big European operator and not directly from apple. I'm working for that big operator so I know what I'm saying )I've heard that the I'phone should be sold in Lux before the end of September. Be patient!
